I get often asked what my skin care routine is. The truth is my routine depends completely on the season.I have a very sensitive and dry face skin, which means that I have to take extra care of it, especially during the winter months.
Due to my skin sensitivity I am always super careful with the products I use. One of my favorite brands for face care are Clinique and Clarins. Both are famous beauty brands, trusted around the world, but what I love about them is that they are absolutely allergy free and just perfect for sensitive skin like mine.
The products I currently use are:
Clinique Superdefense Daily Defense Moisturizer SPF 20
I use this cream every morning after washing my face. What I love about it the deep hydration which creates a healthy moisture barrier to better resist irritants. The cream also has antioxidants and UVA protection. On top, it absorbs super quickly and my skin feels soft throughout the day.
Clarins Double Serum
I always use Clarins oil for dry skin as my night time routine. However, I have now replaced it with the new Clarins Double Serum, as it has stronger protection for the winter. The new serum contains 20+ plants extracts, which give extra radiance, optimizes the elasticity, tightens the pores and deeply hydratases the skin.
Damage remedy Split end repair
Apart from the skin care, what is also extremely important, especially during the winter months is the hair care. One of my favourite hair care lines is by Aveda.
As I have coloured my hair for many years now, I use to get split ends quite often. The Aveda leave-in treatment helps me to repair my split ends, and to prevent future splits from forming. Formulated with nangai oil, it attracts the separated ends back together, helping to smooth and seal hair fibers. On top of that, the product is very easy to use, simply apply a small amount to ends of fully dry hair. Do not rinse. Style.
I will also be publishing a blog about my make-up tricks and favourite products soon, so send me any questions you have about my make-up routine, so I can include the answers in the new post!
