Nina Naustdal LFW 2015 Show

Nina Naustdal is a very talented Norwegian-born fashion designer, who launched her own eponymous brand in May 2011. All Nina’s pieces are made in her London atelier so that she can personally oversee every stage of production and ensure that each piece is finished to the highest quality standards and perfectly cut to compliment her clients.

Nina’s latest LFW show took place at the gorgeous venue – The Royal College of Surgeons. The entertainment program was great, but what made the show brilliant was that Nina presented to her guests not only one, but three collections.

The first part of the show was quite unique, as it included her first ever kids’ collection. The designs were very original and the kids presenting them were extra cute! What I found really adorable was that we saw some of the models in the Ready to Wear SS 16 collection as well. I simply love when mothers and daughters wear matching dresses!

The second part consisted of Nina’s Ready to Wear Spring/Summer 16 Collection. The collection includes colourful prints in feminine shapes for everyday wear. Here are few of my favourite models:

The third, and my personal favourite collection, was the Couture Autumn/Winter 15. This collection is a great combination of luxury designs, high quality silk and specially selected crystals. The dresses are a true work of art and certainly represent Nina’s motto: ‘’Normal is Boring’’, as there is nothing boring about them!

You can find the whole collections here and a video from the show on my Instagram account.

What do you think, which are favourite models?

Love, Tina J
