I am a true color addict! I love everything colorful and I really enjoy experimenting with the shades I wear.
At the beginning of each season, I go through the new suggestions and usually pick few main colors to use as my seasonal inspirations.
One of my favorite colors for the new A/W 2016 season is Royal Blue.
Royal blue is not a new shade, in fact, it is one of the classics, which makes it even more special.
Royal blue is one of the most sophisticated and elegant colors.It is said to have been invented by millers in Rode, Somerset, a consortium of which won a competition to make a dress for the British queen,Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Strelitz.
This color is also perfect because it flatters all skin tones. Royal blue is a statement kind of color that can put the WOW in any outfit and it is guaranteed to give you a classy feel. The trick is to combine it with colors that perfectly compliment it.
Some of the best color matches for Royal blue are:
1) White (as seen on me) – expresses purity.
2) Gold – believed to create a mood of luxury and elegance.
3) Orange – adds that prestigious feel..and a bit of extravagance.
4) Pink – for a warmer, noticeable look. The contrast between the two colors is simply stunning (as seen on my tote bag).
