Burgundy for January

Hi All,

I know it is late January already, but since I have been travelling for the last few weeks, I did not have a chance to wish you all a Happy New Year!

As a first look for the new 2017, I have come up with a combination of two very popular colours for the winter season – black (the all time favourite) and burgundy (the very trendy pick for this season).

The burgundy colour is a combination, from the shades of red and blue, and as such it gets the best from both worlds. Thus, it is a perfect match for every skin tone and is also a very elegant and playful colour choice. It is also great for these cold, cloudy days..

For ultimate winter combinations, you can mix this colour with dark neutral ones like black, grey or navy blue.

If you wear a burgundy dress, you can easily transform it into the perfect winter outfit by adding a playful scarf or bolero.

For a nice office look, you can wear a burgundy shirt under dark suit or if you want to experiment a bit more you can wear a burgundy skirt with a black shirt.

For a casual look you can choose from a lot of different variations of the color and add a bit of print.

For my look, I decided to combine it with leather tights for the leather shiny effect and match it with a handbag with the same shiny motives.

I used high-knee boots as I simply love them this season and a fedora hat.

A fedora hat is one of my favourite accessories, as it is easy to match with different outfits and gives them a bit of a playful hint! Plus it keeps you warm in the cold winter days!
