My All Black Look At Park Guell

I have devoted this weekend to organizing my pictures and trying to upload all my summer looks, which I have been delaying to publish for months now..

It is so much fun taking the pictures than editing and uploading them, but that has to be done too, right? It can´t be all fun, they said..

Today, I decided to share with you a look from one of my fav places in Barcelona – Park Guell!

Park Guell is only one of the masterpieces in Barcelona created by the genius Gaudi.The park was built between 1900 and 1914 and was officially opened as a public park in 1926. In 1984, UNESCO declared the park a World Heritage Site under “Works of Antoni Gaudí”. Park Güell is the reflection of Gaudí’s artistic plenitude, which belongs to his naturalist phase (first decade of the 20th century). During this period, the architect perfected his personal style through inspiration from organic shapes.

Though it is a public park, there is an area which is restricted and for which you have to buy a ticket to enter. It is where the main work of Gaudi is and it is a must-see sight when visiting Barcelona. The entry is very cheap, but you have to book in advance as everything is sold out on the day..

The park is situated on a hill, which is why it has such incredible views over Barcelona! I bet you have seen pictures from it. It is one of the main symbols of Barcelona, probably the second most famous after Sagrada Familia and the football club, some would argue :D.

I have created two looks at the park and today I am sharing with you one of them! This one is a total black look, with a touch of pink. I wore a black skirt with a pink fringe, which brings a little bit of summer spirit to the black. I have combined with a cropped black top with crystals (just because I cannot go out without having something shiny on me..). To finish the look I used my new fav laced up espadrilles and my black cat-eyed sunglasses with pink mirror glasses. For a bag, I wore my two colored furla, as the white part brings a little freshness into the look.
