Mallorca Holiday

Hi All,

 

How is your holiday going? We are still in Mallorca, enjoying our final days on the beach before our next trip.

I cannot believe that it is already the 19th of August. How did the summer go so quickly?? I haven´t even managed to take all the pictures I have planned with my favorite summer outfits.

As I am still trying to catch up on my summer looks, this week I am sharing with you one of my latest looks from Mallorca.

The location for this look is one of my fav places in Cala D´or – Porto Cari (the port in the town). The port is absolutely stunning, but what I love the most about it is not the part with the many modern yachts, but the hidden part of the old port where you can find some of the typical Mallorcan wooden boats Llaüts. These boats are used both for fishing and for leisure sailing and represent the spirit of the Balearic islands and the importance of sailing for the local people.

 

 

 

 

 

I love how the boats are made completely out of wood and how they are all painted in white. Seeing them on the port in Cala D´or is extremely pretty, as all houses here are also painted in white.

To match the atmosphere on the port, I wore a very special look by a-mere-co. It is made of a white statement top with linen lace mesh accent and oversized sleeves and linen Harem pants. The linen is one of my fav materials for the summer days and it is extremely comfortable to wear on your vacay.

 

 

 

 

I love how the colors of this look match with the ocean and the Llaüts, don´t you? The only thing I have to decide now is where to sail off to next!
