New York Helicopter Ride

We just came back from our trip in the US and I cannot wait to share with you guys all the amazing things we have done/seen there!

As I am sure you already know, we spent one week in New York and we managed to do many things in that short for NYC time! I felt totally in love with NY and cannot wait to go there again (hopefully soon)! I am just such a lover of big cities and all they have to offer!

As, I said we did many things while in NY, but there was this one activity we did that cannot be compared to any others. Can you guess which one I mean?

Of course, the helicopter ride over New York City! It was our absolute favourite part of the trip, and for me it is a must do activity when in New York. At first, we were a bit scared (despite all my travels, I don´t like flying that much!), however, there was nothing to be afraid of! The ride with a helicopter feels much more stable than with a plane, plus once you are up there and you see the amazing views you forget everything else!

We did the 25-minute grand tour with New York Helicopter, which takes off from the New York Heli Port, a 10 min walk from Wall Street. The tour we did included views over the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, the Verrazano Bridge, the downtown Manhattan skyline, Central Park, midtown and uptown Manhattan, the George Washington Bridge, Yankee Stadium and the New Jersey Palisades. Here are some of the pictures we took:

There is nothing more exciting than getting a clear bird’s eye view of the city up close. I hope you enjoyed the pics from above! If you are in NY or visiting soon, make sure to stop by New York Helicopter Website and book your tour, you won´t regret it! They offer different tours, so you have the flexibility to choose what exactly you want to see!

Love,
