Barcelona is one of my favorite cities and there are many reasons why! It has amazing weather throughout the year, one of the best you can find in Europe. There are so many things to explore and beautiful spots to visit! Barcelona also has fantastic architecture. When you walk in the center every other building is a masterpiece! As it is a Mediterranean place, there is no need to say how delicious the food is here. Its monuments are known around the world and they are absolutely amazing! There is just so much to see in this city when we start from the beaches and all the palm trees and we move to Sagrada Familia, Parc Guell and the houses of Gaudi. Also, the shopping here is great!
The places around Barcelona are also truly amazing! You can be having a walk on the beach in Barcelona and in just 2 hours drive you can be skiing in the nearby mountains. The nature around here is pretty amazing!
As I said there are many reasons why I love Barcelona. But to add just one on top of these many, the rooftops here are incredible!
That´s right, there are many places with incredible rooftops, but the ones in Barcelona just have a special spirit! For instance, I love the rooftops in London, but you can rarely go there and enjoy good weather! The New York rooftops are also amazing, but they are always so crowded.
What I love about the rooftops in Barcelona is that here you get to enjoy the amazing weather, you can be at a different rooftop every night, there are so many amazing ones thought the city, you enjoy different incredible views and the atmosphere is much more chilled than in London or New York. For the fans of reggaeton and Latin music, you can also find rooftops that host nights with such music! I am a big fan, so I love this kind of places.
Also, the sunset views on the rooftops in Barcelona are incredible! A view that I would love to see from such rooftop is the fireworks of the upcoming Diwali Festival in India, but as I will not be able to visit India this year, I will have to stick to my Barcelona views!
