All body types belong at the beach, but that doesn’t mean that you would necessarily leave all of your insecurities at the hotel. • Take a look at yourself in the mirror. You shouldn’t be avoiding your own reflection because you are a beautiful person. But if you want to make sure that you are feeling comfortable in the clothing that you wear on the beach, make sure that you’re standing in front of the mirror to see what clothes you are wearing. Being comfortable with your reflection is the first thing to do. You have to remember that this is just a body and these are just people. Who cares what you look like while you relax?
  • Wear whatever feels good. It doesn’t matter what your type is and what your size is, You need to wear clothing that feels good. If you want to wear a tankini, wear it. If you want to wear a caftan and a one piece swimsuit, wear it. The point is you should feel confident in whatever you choose to put on.
  • Pay attention to beach diversity. When you think about the people on the beach with you, are you paying attention to their bodies or are you paying attention to their proximity so you have privacy? You can guarantee that the people going to the beach are there to be one with the waves and relax themselves, and they are not focusing on what you look like. Don’t believe us? When was the last time you focused on what people look like on the beach? Exactly. The likelihood is that nobody is focusing on you, so you do not need to focus on them.

Remember that you are fierce. The blame for feeling a lack of confidence on the beach comes from societal pressure. It comes from the fashion industry. And instead of focusing on those things, you should focus on the body positivity movements. Society should be creating more space and accessibility for everybody and all bodies to feel safe and comfortable. And when you’re on the beach, this is how to do it.
